Premium products and top-range materials demand exceptional digitization and virtual representation. The heartbeat of this Scandinavian brand is driven by enhancing comfort and the timeless appeal of home and togetherness — their unique collection results from an emotive approach and meticulous standards. A desire to translate this experience into virtual reality for their new website guided Adea to us, resulting in over 500 life-like digitized assets in numerous file formats, over 200 realistic textures for textiles, wood, and leather surfaces, as well as more than 100 virtual shots showcased on their website.

Overcoming Challenges: The COVID limitations constrained our team to work with references created by Adea's team instead of scanning and photographing their products on-site. We navigated this significant milestone by guiding Adea's professionals so that we could capture the tiniest intricacies of their designs, streamlined communication workflows, and rigorous quality assurance.

For Adea, quality and aesthetics are at the core of our business. We use the vision of renowned designers and the craftsmanship of experienced sofa makers to create the best possible products for our customers. When it came to selecting a partner for creating 3D objects of these products, Design Connected was an easy choice. Early on, they could produce the look accurately, which isn't always easy with upholstered furniture.
The project, which was completed entirely remotely due to Covid-19, had a few hick-ups at the start, but once both sides understood each other better, things started going smoothly.
