New Works
Established only a few years ago, the Danish brand New Works has already achieved recognition for its “bold design language grounded in honest materials and fine craftsmanship.” Its growing collection of lights, objects, and textiles tells a story about experiments, sculptural approaches to forms, and fine craftsmanship.
Key milestones
New Works wanted to leverage CGI for the online presentation of two of its most important furniture pieces, the Tembo and Covent chairs. Each product is offered in around 20 premium textiles, and New Works needed a fast and cost-effective solution to create visual merchandising for all these product variants.
Our team used advanced scanning and photographing techniques to digitize the textiles, creating their 100% accurate digital representations. The digitized materials were then applied to the virtual 3D models of the chairs that our 3D artists crafted using the references provided to achieve a life-like realism.
For each product variant, four virtual photographs were produced: front, side, and ¾ views, plus a detailed view focused on the fabrics. Within six weeks, we delivered 237 ready-to-use product images in PNG format and our standard 3000 x 3000 pixels size.
Well-optimized 3D models in 3DM and DWG were also delivered so that New Works can provide architects and partners with high-quality 3D data to use in virtually any interior design and planning software.
